Approaching Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023

Good night. We have arrived at the end of 2022. Approaching Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023, I held a limited meeting at the President's Office this afternoon. I ask all levels of government to increase their vigilance in facing the high mobility of people welcoming Christmas and New Year (Nataru) which starts next week.

The government estimates that during the Nataru holiday there will be more than 44 million people who will travel by land, sea and air.

The government wants to ensure that all series related to Nataru activities must all be carried out smoothly, safely and well.

Availability and supply of food during Nataru must be properly prepared, including the smooth supply of fuel oil (BBM). In addition, I ask all related staff to pay attention in terms of security both during worship activities at Christmas and during New Year's celebrations.
