President Joko Widodo Inaugurated the opening of the 2023 Indonesia Stock Exchange trading in Jakarta, this morning.
The Indonesian capital market in 2022 has achieved good results amidst world economic turbulence.
The index in 2022 rose 4.1 percent at a time when exchanges in other countries were experiencing a very long decline.
The capitalization value of the Indonesian capital market in 2022 will grow quite large, namely by 15 percent to reach IDR 9,499 trillion.
This is a big number in the midst of global economic turbulence in 2022.
The prospect of the Indonesian capital market is still very promising, among others, seen from the level of investors who are currently dominated by the younger generation.
However, 2023 will be a test year for the global economy as well as the Indonesian economy. All parties must remain alert and careful in dealing with global economic uncertainty.
